Got the AMD with it's timer driveouts and screen freezes replaced with a real GPU, a Nvidia, and new PSU to go with the GPU, and that was the end of the CTDs. It was probably the PSU then. I have an ATI GPU and MSFS runs like a charm (apart from when SU5 dropped and needed the hotfix, when it would bomb with that for a day or so if you pushed the settings). So it's fair to say it's pretty much always run with no problems on that ATI card. Edited August 10, 20214 yr by Chock Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

I have a 3800x CPU and an 6800XT GPU, if I do suffer any CTD's, 99% of the time it's after I load up MSFS for the first time, after the CTD I reboot MSFS and then I can fly for hours without any problems, it's a strange problem and I can't understand how it happens. Although, I did need to change the cables from the power supply when I got it.. It was delivered with one power cable to the 6900XT with a Y-splitter on the end for the twin power inputs and it was flakey.. when I swapped that for 2 seperate power cables, it's been fine ever since.
