Glass Cockpit Gauge CPU Core Offload?

Featured Replies

I'm not sure if this was ever answered.  After SU5 HF2 or 3, lost count, did they actually offload the gauges to another core; or are we still waiting for that performance increase?

They did that already in SU5 before the hotfixes.

Yep, it's in the sim now. Glass cockpits no longer have a noticeable effect on the framerate.

My simming system: AMD Ryzen 5800X3D, 32GB RAM, RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB, LG 38" 3840x1600

It's definately much better but I still notice it
I loose about 10% fps in a glass cockpit

It's definitely in.  Default, and modded, 787 used to result in a big FPS drop even on "low".  Now I run medium and there's no FPS impact maybe 1-2 fps if anything when powering the plane up.

OK...LOL.  I think I'm seeing that boost now.  MK Studios new GCFV released tonight.

Also, this is with the latest windows updates and Nvidia drivers.

I've always run it on high, can't stand medium and never tried low. Medium is still the default if you reset the graphics options though.

Performance is better for me all around anyway.
