Welcome.  I see you are a new member.  I hope we can help you out.  You must also help us help you.  This has been primarily a site for PC based flight simulators and MSFS has now brought xBox to the table.  It may take a bit longer for other members here who are familiar with xBox and xBox controllers to respond and help you.  And that will certainly improve over time.  Please be patient. You have found a great place with Avsim.  I am confident we can help you get squared away with your rudder use.

Tags are the method now, but new members are not aware of that upon arrival.  I asked him which because I sensed it might be the case.  I'd make a case for a separate set of forums myself.  Still want to be welcoming and helpful above all else!

If you have a controller that is "twitchy" / moves left right -- in MSFS settings you can make that controller have a middle area where the small movements of the controller have no effect -- a "null zone"

Sometimes this is useful with controllers that move around a lot, either because that is just the way that controller is, or maybe it has dust/dirt or a worn sensor etc.

Maybe that and sensitivity settings can help.  I know a lot of people are running with -20/-30 even -40 sensitivity with MSFS.  I have never used an X-Box controller so I do not know how sensitive they are.

Here’s the video of what it does to me on landing. Please note i am not touching anything to move the rudder it does it all on its own. Please someone help!!! (I’m playing on Xbox)!!

Perhaps one of the assistance settings under Assistance Options/Piloting is causing this.

You can full left rudder the instant the wheels touch ? that is very odd.

 

Is that on all aircraft at all airports ?
