Edinburgh Scotland - no terminal building

Featured Replies

Landing at Edinburgh, Scotland, I noticed all the jetways connecting to nothing, just standing isolated. The terminal buildings were missing. Is this a known issue after SU5 or do I have some issue with a mod perhaps? Any ideas or confirmation that this is a MSFS bug and not just me appreciated.

Yep, definitely a bug. Loaded in there today and it was all fine. Everything showing as normal.
Regardless, I believe I have fixed this bug permanently now though… bought and installed EGPH Edinburgh by Pyreegue.

Granted, you shouldn't have to buy a product to solve a fault default features of the sim, but you've definitely made a good choice. 👍

OS:     Win11 Home; Mobo: Asus TUF Gaming Z690-Plus WiFi D4; CPU: Intel i5-12400 (Alder Lake) 4.4 GHz
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR4 64Gb (4x16GB) 3600 MHz; GPU:  MSI Radeon RX 5700XT [8GB]
SSD:  Corsair Force MP510 (for OS);  2x 1TB & 1x 2TB Sabrent Rocket Nvme PCIe 4.0 (one for sim, two for addons)
HDD:  Seagate 3TB (Data); Seagate 1TB (Programs), ASUS TUF Gaming VG32VQ1B Curved 31.5" monitor, 1440p, 38Mbs ethernet

Fulcrum One Yoke, Honeycomb Bravo throttle, Thrustmaster Airbus TCA sidestick & throttle, Logitech Pro pedals, Xbox wireless gamepad (1st gen)

Saw the missing buildings also at Heathrow and La Guardia. Haven't done much other flying. Tried to get the to show by deleting roling cache, changing cache size, etc, changing building complexity from ultra to low and back cycling through the options. No luck.

Will wait untill WU6, and see what changes.

Edinburgh is the same for me no terminal buildings.

Asus Maximus Hero X11, Intel i9 10850k, 32gb Corsair Dominator ram, 2tb Corsair mp510 ssd  m2, Gigybyte turbo RTX 3090

Don't have the issue but then again I have EGPH Edinburgh by Pyreegue 😎

Great stuff 🙂

Hope that WU6 solve the issues...

Yes, it is definitely a MSFS bug. When I flew there from London City, it was devoid of terminal buildings. I was initially worried it was my system or a Community Folder conflict. Then when starting a fresh flight at the same airport the next day, the buildings were there but it did not look good. That’s what drove me to get EGPH by Pyreegue. Money well spent, a really nice payware airport and I’m pretty sure it won’t disappear at random…..

That's odd. I do see a building - very poor blocky mind you.But in general I'm using the one freeware one from piritv which is great improvement

I’m glad I’m not the only one who’s having these issues

I tend to have it happen when I arrive at an airport but if I restart the sim then they appear

so far it’s happened at EGNX,EGPH,LEBB...it just doesn’t want to load the buildings so jetways are attached to nothing.

I deleted my cache and settings are on high.

Has this been noted my MFS team ? I don’t see much comments on this issue so makes me think it’s not been noticed 😕

Same issue at my home airport, KFNT. Plenty of buildings but no terminal.  Just jetways to nowhere.

I9-9900, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3090 FTW

Just did a test flight and landed at Edinburg...no issues here
