September 10, 20214 yr Hello! Can someone point me in the right direction on how to install updated navigraph data in MSFS2020 manually? I don't use their external program (for reasons) and prefer to do it manually. I do this with XPlane and prefer the manual control. However I haven't been able to find step by step instructions on how to do it in MSFS2020. Thanks for any help!

If you have your reasons you do not use their MSFS related app then you are asking yourself this question. September 10, 20214 yr asking you why dont you use their installer, its so simple to use or ask Navigraph themselves on how to do it manually Edited September 10, 20214 yr by pete_auau I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg
September 10, 20214 yr If you're referring to the individual AIRAC cycles that you can download and manually install like in other simulators I'm afraid that's not the case for MSFS. You must use the beta app. It's a very small program just for MSFS navigation data and is very simple. Is it done yet? When will it be released? Will it be freeware or payware? How much will it cost? Any updates on the progress? Will it work for Xbox? Can I be a beta tester? How's the performance in VR?

In XPlane they provide an external installer, but they also provide the raw data as well for manual installation in case you don't want to download and install extra software unnecessarily. One would assume the same logic would follow with MSFS2020 which is what I was asking 3 minutes ago, PWJT8D said: If you're referring to the individual AIRAC cycles that you can download and manually install like in other simulators I'm afraid that's not the case for MSFS. Yep that's what I was looking for, the actual AIRAC cycle data to manually place in specific folders. i found an answer somewhere else that confirms what you're saying that for MSFS2020 they don't yet allow access to the airac cycle independent of the special software.
September 10, 20214 yr @dresoccer4 Via Navdata Center App only. Confirmed by Navigraph. Best regards Detlef

Because you are asking how to install it when the only installer is the one you for some reason choose not to use. A literal boomerang. Perhaps you are confusing or mixing what is available for MSFS with some prior Navigraph experience with another simulation? September 10, 20214 yr I don't think Navdata Center is in beta state anymore, and it is very simple to use. System: I ASRock X670E | AMD 7800X3D | 64Gb DDR5 6000 | RTX 4090 | 2TB NVMe | Seasonic Vertex 1000W I LG Ultra Gear 34 UW I
September 10, 20214 yr Did my first IFR flight since WU6 today from LIME to LFSB in the FBW320 (dev. version) and something was wrong with the navdata. The SIDs at LIME were completely wrong and some airways weren‘t recognized in the FMS. Now I wonder if I did anything wrong. I used the navdata center or whatever it’s called and clicked on update. Is there anything else I have to do? Any ideas? i9-11900K, RTX 4090, 32 GB ram, Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo, TCA Airbus sidestick and quadrant, Reverb G2

OK. So it is the desire for raw data that drives you. I get that! Did not get it at first. I'm a proponent of opening up avionics in general (SDK) where raw data could really be put into use.
