Oversize '11' sign at Nassau Intl.

Recommended Posts

Wondering does anyone see an oversize '11' sign at Nassau Intl at the beginning of runway '14'?  I'm wondering if it's just me or an incompatibility with another mod that's causing the problem.  Thanks in advance for the help.

yes it comes and goes for me in latest version.   its been around a while might be a conflict with a mod somewhere i just haven't explored it enough. Although i did get it to disappear before latest update.

I'll test on my end later today to see if this is indeed a default issue.

After investigating it looks like the problem might be with FSDreamteams scenery.  Can anyone confirm this?  I removed everything from the community folder and the issue didn't pop back up until FSDreamTeam's Key West and CYVR were installed.

I always thought that was there to judge my landings! (These go to 11!)

I have seen the MEGA 11 at Nassau before.  I did uninstalled FSDT's CYVR in favor of the FSSimStudios version.  After going back to MYNN I can still see the giant Blue and White rubik's cube box.  There is an issue with MYNN.

I have only CYVR, and do not see the "11" sign.

Then it must be Key West as that's the only other scenery I have from them.  Hopefully others will chime in before I take this to FSDreamteam.

For the record, I do not have Key West but I do have KORD.  I just re-tested without FSDT's KORD installed and the Rubik's Cube was still present, so that eliminates FSDT as the culprit.  I also tested with my Community folder empty and the Cube is gone.  Now I have to go in "Sherlock Holmes mode" to determine which addon is the culprit.  More to come.

Hello Team.

I am in the process of "taking one for the team" and trying to get to the bottom of this mystery.  It is a very tedious process of narrowing down the one addon (amongst hundreds) that could be the culprit or culprits.  So far, I have been able to isolate that the following file causes the #11 situation at MYNN:

https://flightsim.to/file/7305/aydy-sindeni-airstrip-png

It is one of the PNG airfield addons.  The other PNG airfield addons are good.

Now I need to figure out what causes the giant blue and white cube at MYNN.  More to come on that one.

Cheers.

Sincerely,

Dennis D. Müllert

I flew to MYNN Nassau tonight on the twotonemurphy community fly in, and I can confirm I had an oversize sigh at the beginning of the runway.

I had the giant cube in Nassau some time ago and it was caused by 4 sceneries: They are TDPD, TJCP, TLPC and another one of the Point-a-Pitre port. They are all from a developer called Bernardofly, downloaded from Flightsim.to. Took me some time to find out which ones were causing the problem but I eventually figured it out. If you have those try disabling them and check if you still see the cube.

Edit: Looks like he changed his name there from Bernardofly to wilfridlisandro.
