Fixing the Stutters at Airports

I was getting good FPS during flights but still some stutters at big airports. The steps below made quite a difference. It's what I have found reading some threads, I don't take the credit.

1. Graphics Ultimate Preset and leave it.

2. Sound -> ATC text to speech settings OFF

3. May want to restart MSFS.

4. Developer Mode ON, Save settings

5. Developer Mode OFF, Save settings

There are no stutters at airports in the last days because traffic does not work.

4th day straight without traffic and 3rd placebo thread.

I hardly get any since the last SU, and i wouldnt class my PC as excepetionally fast either.. specs below. The performance i get now is fantastic compared to before.

Actually I saw traffic around La Guardia yesterday. Two liners and a business jet.

I am on the west europe server.

This issue has been reported by many users and until a couple of hours ago was "under investigation". Now it shows as "fixed on live" and the thread on the official forum is closed.

I was on a 2 h flight, just landed and restarted MSFS to check and it looks fixed, finally.

It's been working for me for most of September. I think the last week saw the biggest number of flyers at once.

Decent FPS... check

Popin's fixed... check

LOD / Draw distance... FAIL

Not to compare sims but, in X-Plane I have a plugin that reduces the LOD to minimum if the airplane's brakes are off and the airplane is below 20 ft AGL.  Once the plane gets above 20 ft. it cranks LOD up.  This gives me incredibly smooth framerate while taxiing and takeoff roll.  It just makes sense.  In most places you can't see all that scenery.  So, why bother drawing it?  I wish MSFS would be a little smarter about LOD settings.

there is little traffic when compared to reality, I only ever see 2 or 3 regular flights for EGGD, and having just come through there in RL (6am flight) I can confirm that almost every flight on the arrival and departure boards has NEVER been in MSFS. 

And that is pretty poor when almost the entire days movements can been shown on two boards due to the Covid situation - imagine if we were at normal levels.
