The main forums are already complaining it is not "Carenado quality textures" .

One of my faves is the Grumman Goose that's been rebuilt from FSX to MSFS native standard,   and it's still has the FSX cockpit textures.

This is about the same sort of quality imo.

Surely there must be some cabin heat at least? It's bitter in this cockpit. But where is it? Iced up completely. Can't see sod all.

Current missing features or bug

  • Flaps Indicator doesn’t work.
  • Pitot Heat doesn’t work.
  • Mixture levers don’t seem to have much effect if any.
  • Left Fuel Flow Gauge doesn’t work.
  • Sperry Gyropilot doesn’t have pitch functionality, only ALT HOLD.
  • Sperry Gyropilot doesn’t offer aileron control.
  • DME indicator is INOP.
  • Tail wheel lock doesn’t work.
  • Prop feathering doesn’t workork as intended via the Feather buttons - only via setting prop levers to zero? (Haven’t tested, but that’s what the manual says)
  • No WWise sounds.

JF do seem to get really good prices on Aeroplane Heaven models (and that presumably also includes VAT) plus the loyalty points.
Might wait to get it tomorrow though, in their One Special Day charity event

Hmm, I just went there and it is US$32 which is 23.76 pounds, same price as other places.

Must be down to that 'regional pricing' thing which goes on.

Unusual for the UK to get the better deal with regional pricing though 🙂

Tell me about it. 🤣 and we have no fuel either lol...

What's the difference between paraffin and petrol? - Paraffin has two Fs, but there's no effin petrol. 😄

Incidentally, I am currently doing a review of this one (and all the other recent add-ons lol), but before that gets uploaded, I can tell you that there are both good and bad things about it, so think carefully before stumping up the cash. It is quite pretty, but definitely not a 'study sim' affair. Normally I quite like Aeroplane Heaven stuff, but this seems to me to be a rather lazy tarted-up port-over of their FSX/P3D version and it's difficult to recommend it at the price, particularly when there is a nice Boeing 247 on the way from Wing 42.

Anyone got the ADF to work?

While it works fine on the mini-glass cockpit, the round gauge does not work for me.

Thanks!
