Bug fixes and Emilia Earhart 10E edition This video is comical to say the least.😁 Some of these guys need to mess around with what their previewing first before jumping creating videos that could contain mis-information because they don't know what their doing. I was hoping to get something from this but he's using a cargo model looking for a cabin (which it should have had either way) and has forgotten how to get around in the cockpit. Totally a waist for those of us trying to find out if AH addressed many of the issues found in the original release. I was trying to this video out quickly but I do take your critic for the next video. I do need to spend more time to test it. And btw, the 10E is a cargo version. There is no passenger version. https://fsprocedures.com Your home for all flight simulator related checklist.

To be fair, they do stand out a lot on the real thing, it was common at the time the Electra was built, to not use flush rivets. Interestingly, when Supermarine were making the Spitfire a couple of years after the Electra was built, they tested whether it would make much difference to not use flush rivets on it; they did this by literally gluing halves of dried peas on all the flush rivets they had used on a prototype, and flew the thing like that to simulate it having raised rivet heads. They found that with raised heads on the skin, it took approximately ten miles per hour off its top speed. This doesn't sound like much of a speed gain for using flush rivets, but when Supermarine built their Type 224 prototype fighter (the one before the Spitfire which thankfully wasn't selected for production and which was also tentatively named 'Spitfire'), their Type 224 was rejected because it was about ten miles per hour shy of managing the Air Ministry's required speed of 250 miles per hour at 15,000 feet, so they were aware of what an additional bit of speed could mean when it came to prototype fighters being picked for production. Now they did promise to fix the gyropilot (DME) in a future update. At least they fix the obvious like the mixture level that was backward for example. how do you even release an aircraft without mixture working. That was beyond me. I've been pretty harsh to AH about this offering. I will go through the 10a tonight and see if everything work. https://fsprocedures.com Your home for all flight simulator related checklist.

How do you go from stellar top quality offerings to a Perfect Flight/Papa Tango (basically garbage for those young enough not to know what I'm talking about) effort at the very next go around? Who's to say how the DC3 will turn out. How do you go from stellar top quality offerings to a Perfect Flight/Papa Tango effort at the very next go around? Who's to say how the DC3 will turn out. I have both those and both had initial release glitches and all the significant issues are now fixed and I am now quite happy with them (though the c140 engine sound is still too loud). With the c140 they were rolling out patches as they fixed things on the fly, but announced they were reverting to a more normal "occasional major update" rollout policy. I am holding off on the Electra to the dust settles but they do tend to fix things eventually.

If you can tolerate the din it actually flies very nicely.
