Low fps after update

Featured Replies

After the latest update to update 7, my fps have dropped significantly, from 35 fps to 10 less than one hour. I tested by parking a Cessna at the ESSB airport in Sweden. I let a view with three parked planes be immobile. Fps dropped slowly minute by minute and after 45 minutes the fps (frames) were down to 10 fps. Blue sky with little clouds on the horizon.
Only a few cars drove in the picture.fps thus decreased significantly without anything in the image changing. All objects except individual cars did not move. Most of my settings in tge simulator at high or slightly lower. What is the reason for this?

same - they broke something again

Check for incompatible mods. Start with empty community folder and see.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

I to had SU6 spot on, then SU7 something felt off.

Firstly it was better once I'd re booted the sim few hours later after update.

Secondly, and I'm not saying this is acceptable, but it seemed to make a difference.

Go into your graphic settings and just change them and change them back, after applying save.

So for example 'Clouds', go to high from ultra, save, then back to ultra and save again.

Also i toggled all the data settings and cleared cache etc...

There is a theory that this sort of re sets it to have it was after the update.....

Not sure if it will change anything but sure worked for me.

An easier way would simply be, if you run say High preset, go down to Medium, save.... then back to High...save again.

Nope. In DX11 I see no change in frame rates.

Weird.  Just checked the store and no updates since the 18th. No prompt when firing up the sim either.

I have no idea what you mean. I installed SU7, then downloaded all the updates in-sim.

sorry guys - maybe it was just something leftover that didnt get updated on my side.  im running 1.21.13.0

Turns out my issue was with Bijans trees but now working fine with v2.8

FPS is normal again.

Thx
