Except they have VR.

Erm, so what?

I have VR, but I don't use it regularly with MSFS because I use Foreflight on an iPad for flight planning and navigation. I also have a StreamDeck.  For me, TrackIR is an important part of my simulation experience.

Even before SU7 came out I was underwhelmed by the pre release hype. Post release I see my expectations have been realised - a very large download for not very much.

I understand why you say that, but just the haze itself is a huge addition to MSFS.  Yes, another release and more bugs, but I think its safe to say these issues will be looked at and fixed.  If they sort out the clouds that are too low and the haze overdone, MSFS will have taken another big step forward.

I have all 4 major sims (P3Dv5, XP11, AFS2, MSFS) and I must say that I’m amazed by the AFS2-like almost perfect smoothness of this latest update!

No jerking, no stutters (or very few), gorgeous scenery...I really like this new sim..a lot.

Can’t wait for the Carenado Skymaster, BAE-146, F28, MD-80...and everything else to come...sometimes I get positively giddy about MSFS.

I am sure he think he was clever for mentioning VR in a discussion about TrackIR. You can't beat Avsim geniuses. Teapot...blanket...alternator..

Maybe I should have thrown my mouse & keyboard out the window when I purchased a VR headset - why would I continue to use them when I have hand controllers in VR?
