We should start a gofundme to purchase Asobo a TrackIR. I can't believe they haven't tested that. Not like a huge percentage of their customers use it! It is a big bug for sure..

Except they have VR.

I had some time today, so I was able to do a couple of flights. Clearly the weather engine needs tweaking and tuning, but I find the weather at airports now much more immersive than before.

Didn't lose any frames in DX 11.

The DA62X and the Longitude seem to be working fine after SU7.

I don't use TrackIR coz I ain't wearin' a baseball cap with a dot.😁

Yeah, I have VR too. I actually prefer TrackIR. I am guessing a big percentage of their customers do too. I am not sure of your point? A major bug exists, but it is OK they have VR?

LOL. Attach it to a headset. Way more comfortable!

I don't us Track IR in MSFS, but do in DCS and IL2. But i can understand why those that have constantly used Track IR would be annoyed. I Mean it's a flight sim, why would you remove the ability to use it in the sim. I just don't get where their thinking's at, at times.

I'm sure they didn't "remove it" on purpose. It is a bug and it will be fixed.

I noticed that haze takes lots of performance too, especial with clouds at ultra.

Haze has no impact on FPS. It's these clouds on the ground that are hammering the performance.

Exactly. And they haven't removed it at all. It's bugged, but people are still using it, albeit with disconnections occurring and the need to reconnect. Annoying, yes, but very different from the claim they removed it from the simulator.

Asobo don't have TrackIR is a strange claim. They wouldn't have implemented it without the equipment to test it. They knew a bug occurred, because it's listed in the release notes. Again, MS (the publisher) sets the release date in stone, and the developer (Asobo) delivers the build no matter what, with fixes already being investigated.

So, lemme get this straight.. a half-baked DX12, a half-baked replay, a half-baked weather upgrade.. plus new bugs that were not there in SU6.. hmm.. and we had to download 33 Gigs for all this?

I hope you didn’t suffer too much under all this stress. You guys have such a hard time.

I had to download 120GB for all of it myself. Was that about what everyone else had to get? DX12 performance is also about half of what DX11 is. It looks really nice but it runs like garbage in DX12 with same settings as DX11.

Man, Asobo and Microsoft are killing it.

This is a correct and very relevant statement.

My version (after a fruitless day of trying) has killed my mouse click (works on some parts of the cockpit but I cannot click on or activate any part of ATC)

I have also had to remap all of my controls for Saitek yoke, pedals 2 x throttles and an extra quadrant, and trim wheel. I can now take off, albeit using full right rudder on all aircraft, during the take off roll. However, after about four minutes my aircraft rolls to the right or left and plunges into the ground or water and no controller input can correct it.  This occurs (for me) regardless of being in autopilot mode or flying manually and regardless of aircraft.

Control sensitivity has also changed dramatically and I am still trying to sort that out.

Ricardo, I have to admit that you are so #%&%^$* right. Asobo and Microsoft are very definitely "killing" it.

I am very much looking forward to my very first trouble-free update. Thank goodness for XPlane 11 for a stress free flight.

They probably have a garden at their home, but that fact is just as relevent to TrackIR as your is.

I had heard that this is not full DX12 but rather a DX12 wrapper around DX11..... (Not sure if this is correct)

Asobo has spent at least a few months warning not to expect much, and for now at least, the warnings were quite appropriate

Even before SU7 came out I was underwhelmed by the pre release hype. Post release I see my expectations have been realised - a very large download for not very much.
