With the strong internet dependency, MSFS might have the wrong architecture for those anyway.

I agree. But in this case MS should advise those on a limited bandwidth and/or limited data cap not to buy the game. Or be careful not to break things to the point that you have to reinstall from scratch. The game can be played on a limited connection if you give up on photogrammetry, a full reinstall is something else.

Again, it seems to me that there is little to no consideration for customers from MS.

It's pretty obvious now that the Beta is the Hotfix for SU7, I do not think there will be any official update before SU8, I'm glad I have a fast Internet connection.
