I believe that any Marketplace purchases (including free "purchases") will be shown in your Content Manager. And within Content Manager is a tick box to show only items that have a pending update. Have a peek at "Wingman Modern UI" on Flightsim.to. One of the items it "changes" is to make that large white block on the world map opaque, so that you can see what is under it.
