LOL! Good old PBR...if you start off first with a few of something good, then at some point you won't know the difference!

Cheers, Pete

I have to mention Haffenreffer as a likely candidate too.

Not so much of that to watch right now thanks to 'that which shan't be named'☹️

Just about to open a bottle of Merlot myself (well, it's a screw top so I don't need an adult to do it for me!😁).

Yup! No NHL players for the Canadian and US Olympic teams going to the Winter Olympics! Going to be interesting to see how it shakes down!

More time to spend on the Market Place!

Nonsense

I have to admit, all this talk of beer has made me thirsty. Pity it‘s early in the morning here😅. As for the sales, is it only me or is the one addon you want never on sale? Last time it was Athens, now it‘s Samos. Both times I bought them anyway🙈.

Edit: Fly Tampa’s Athens is amazing. Samos not so much. The runway textures are awful.

Come on, try sometimes, it's a more pleasant and interesting way to discuss with people.

I don't want to sound like a Debbie Downer, but I would think I could click on a segment of the MP and see all and just the items I have installed and purchased instead of having to search for them in order to update them. Maybe there is a way and I am probably just too stupid to discover a way.

That and those large white blocks of tiny text that cover a big chunk of the Airport on the world map when mousing over them are my two main issues with the interface.

Yeah, agreed. There is a 'hide owned' checkbox in the marketplace, but not a 'show only owned' checkbox: Very annoying!

Flightsim.to had a utility to reduce in size the large white blocks on the world map but one of the sim updates broke it and it quit working.

It's not a matter of "disagreement", it's a matter of folks making baseless statements that have zero grounding in any kind of facts.

In numerous threads we already ascertained a year or so ago that MSFS 2020 was designed with consoles in mind. IOW, to be used from a sofa with a controller.

Some folks are just now making this earth-shattering observation.

That said, just this morning I maneuvered around the market place to check out the specials. I found it to be simple, as you can drill down to type of addon, developer, etc.

I don't see the inconvenience.

One of the inconveniences is that Marketplace items are updated sometimes weeks after the developers publish updates on their websites.

Another one is that the purchases are not transferred between Steam and MS Store accounts despite the XBox profile with which you connect to the game is the same.

Also the interface is clearly made to be browsed with a gamepad. Now, to be honest the entire MSFS UI is thought for console/TV users, with its giant images and low number of items displayed on the screen. Jeez, certain menus are made of only 2-3 items with enormous pictures that take the entire screen.

All these observations, along with the fact that the Marketplace is the ONLY option to buy addons for XBox users, make us think that it is catered for XBox users.
