January 7, 20224 yr Tried downloading the latest version of MSFS2020. Initially, opened XBox, the update shows an error 0%, code 0x80070032. In Microsoft store, it tries to download then shows an error message stating "something happened at our end'. Tired starting MSFS2020, it doesn't download any update, just goes on and starts the simulator is its old version. When I do a search on the error code, one of the first suggestions is to uninstall and re-install the sim, which is not something I want to do. Anyone else had this problem and any suggestions as to the way forward? Thanks for any help Rob
January 7, 20224 yr I had this problem as well. I restarted my computer and the X-Box app and it worked. Mark CYYZ

January 8, 20224 yr Rob30, I had this error and sadly very little response to my cry for help on this forum. Initially, I uninstalled and tried to reinstall MSFS ... still had error code. I tried this quite a few times until I could no longer uninstal MSFS. I deleted and reinstalled XBox. (I dislike intensely having to use this programme for an XBox I do not have) I still had error code. I eventually did a complete and clean Windows 10 uninstall and reinstall, and in doing that, I lost my unbacked up Community folder. I spent a couple of days rebuilding that and renaming it .bak before trying another MSFS install. THAT was successful. Two days before the update fix I had my first full and successful flight post update 7. Gotta love MSFS updates. I then reluctantly downloaded and installed the update fix and voila .... everything worked beautifully. Surprised the, Word Not Allowed, out of me. At last I am again a happy little vegemite and really looking forward to the Aussie World update, despite my trepidations. Now I am not suggesting that you will have to go to this extent to solve your problem and am merely telling you how I fixed it. I sincerely hope somebody can come up with a more simple fix for you. January 8, 20224 yr It may help to boot up FS2020 and log out of your gamertag which is in the top right of the main MSFS window. Then exit MSFS without signing back in. And then rebooting your computer. And then start up MSFS and log back in from inside MSFS itself when prompted when MSFS starts up. This procedure will sometimes cure big problems. It fixed an issue I had that was vaguely similar (but I'm using the Steam version). 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel.
