Speaking of which,

since we have introduced our TCAS (including AutoTCAS for AP guidance during RAs) feature in the Experimental version, check out this video from 320 Sim Pilot to get an in-depth explanation by a real Airbus pilot:

Please keep in mind that our TCAS feature is a work in progress and is still undergoing tuning / changes. You can keep updated on issues on our experimental page: https://docs.flybywiresim.com/exp

The experimental is pretty stable now. The TCAS works with all live traffic (no matter if AIG or Simple Traffic). It doesn't work with any offline traffic though. No TCAS is working with offline traffic at the moment, since MSFS doesn't provide any data for offline traffic.

That's great, thank you.  Actually, I'm now thinking about injecting RealTraffic with PSXT as this appears to be the best (most realistic) of the options available at the moment.

On that note i have been using AIG and it really adds to the immersion.

First to say is: don't. The Github download is not meant to be used. Please use the installer or the direct download from our website (flybywiresim.com) only.

LOL, I guess sometimes I just get stuck in my ways, must be a gettin' old thing!!  I'll be using the installer from now on.

Thanks again for all you guys do!!!

Possibly, but none of this TCAS works with offline traffic which is a shame (Asobos's fault).  And running with online traffic reduces the traffic to such low levels it really kind of ruins it (MSFS only injects about 30% of of the stuff you see on FlightAware)

Interestingly, I just completed a flight and on take off I had a couple of offline AI aircraft showing on TCAS. The difference? They had taxied out and taken off just before I did.

My understanding is that offline AI flights that are injected in mid flight will not show on TCAS (until Asobo fixes it) but AI flights that taxi out and take off will show.

Will show in TCAS  and in Sim (out the window) or just in TCAS?
