February 16, 20224 yr I am always on the newest driver as I update whenever I’m informed that there’s a new one. Never had any issues.
February 18, 20224 yr I am using the latest game-ready derivers that came out on Monday, 511.79. Main reason is I just got a 3080 and so I wanted the most up-to-date drivers on my system to take advantage. As a general practice, though, I tend to not jump on new drivers until I pick up software or hardware that needs it. I prefer to do a clean install on video drivers, and I can't keep up with constantly re-doing my game-specific settings all the time... so probably I update only every few months. No reason for me other than convenience and time. - Kevin Windows 11 / Ryzen 7 9800X3D / MSI RTX-4080 Super 16G Ventus 3X / Gigabyte B850 Aorus Elite WiFi 7 / Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro / 64GB Lexar ARES Gen2 RGB DDR5 6000Mhz CL30 RAM / Dell Alienware AW3418DW WQHD 3440x1440 GSync / Samsung 970 EVO Plus M.2 2TB (OS) & 860 EVO 4TB SDD / WD Caviar Black 4TB HDD / EVGA Supernova 850 G5 PSU / Be Quiet Light Base 600 LX case / Virpil Warbird base with Constellation Alpha grip / MFG Crosswind rudder pedals / Virtual-Fly TQ6+ throttle quadrant / Winwing Orion HOTAS F-18 Throttle / Virpil TCS+ collective base with Hawk-60 grip / Saitek Trim Wheel / Saitek Radio and Switch Panels / Winwing Combat Ready Panel / Tobii 5
