I like the way they ignored the 5 - 20 minutes it takes for a radio signal to get to Earth re the first transmission but then released a satellite that would enable real time comms.  😀 Good though, I enjoyed that.

It was cool that the "energy aliens" returned him to his family though!  It's a shame they didn't end with him calling Mission Control to let them know that he's home... 🤗

I remember watching this quite a while ago. An oldie but a goodie.
