I just can't seem to find the right setting.  But I'm still seeing cases of the weird colored stock msfs planes or even planes stacked upon each other.  Multiplayer traffic is off for the moment.  Any pointers would be helpful.  Thanks.

I have 

Use Generic Plane Models AI Traffic  ON

Use generic planes multiplayer  off

traffic variety ULTRA.  

 

But I just toggled the ai above off and the green and see a Microsoft Fligh Sim 747 and a few other generic ones. 

In the Traffic Settings select Aircraft Traffic Type to OFF, also be sure to set your Ground Aircraft density to Zero otherwise the sim will randomly spawn traffic as statics everywhere you go.

 

 The Alternative to this is to actually disable the Traffic bgl as it does have many errors and issues.

 Located in your Packages Official fs-base-ai-traffic\scenery\world\traffic filename is trafficAircraft.bgl you can rename it to trafficAircraft.bgl.OFF or just move it outside of that scenery folder for safe keeping.

If you want to keep the trafic but hate the way they look Aerosoft simple traffic change them all to real life liverys. Just a thought.

thanks for the advice - in that section I had also left AI aircraft traffic density to 58 - but it appears greyed out (presume because aircraft traffic type is off) so concluded it would have no impact....

somehow I'm getting many real world airlines that seem to fit the airport.  I didn't buy aerosoft and haven't installed AIG yet like I did in p3d.  I wonder where the traffic is coming from.  I'm scratching my head as to what addon I have that I forgot about

Get some screens up so we can have a look. Is Real Time traffic enabled?

Will do. Possibly it’s pulling from p3d aig. But will do that later

Wow, very interesting! I'm fairly sure those aren't from AIG as the aircraft reg's aren't the same as those used in AIG. Do you have a Vatsim model matching addon or anything?

Well i went thru my addons.  LVFR static aircraft.  Had totally forgot I picked that up

Yup I only get that issue with the LVFR addon.

Sucks I really like the addon but default traffic.bgl will still spawn on top of the LVFR static parking spots.
