Runway 32 at BOS?

I'm guessing BOS only allow for RY 14 departures?  I'm not sure how they got away with that hotel right there.  Anyone from the area - do they ever depart 32?

Whoa! That is a risky location for a hotel. Not to mention, a little on the noisy side I imagine.

Yeah I'm guessing some box haulers are at that small terminal near the ry 14 threshold and only use it for departures....  I don't even think they could land 14.

Landing for sure would be a huge potential misadventure.

Remarks:

rwy 14/32 is unidirectional. no ldgs rwy 14; no tkofs rwy 32.

Btw, This airport was a slideshow on P3D v4.

There' a MSFS v. update coming soon to address the CTD when loading to menu (caused by vector tool SU9) and some performance enhancements.

That's according to George at the FlyTampa forum.

Oh - yeah I noticed that an hour ago - I wonder if it was related to my issue I had earlier with the process affecting MSFS... hmmm

Funny to see this as I just landed an E175 on 32 the other day in real life. It's a short runway l right at 5000 feet. As far as I remember there is nothing in our 10-7 pages prohibiting a 32 departure but no idea of the controllers would assign it..... I wouldn't feel comfortable with it though personally. It could get interesting if you lost an engine right after V1 we fly into shorter runways like Key West and Hilton Head but no large buildings there to make climb performance an issue

But isn't the round structure at the south end of that Hyatt also a backup control tower for KBOS?  LOL!

Interesting. So if tower assigns you 14 for landing that is the room number and never the rwy

MISSED APPROACH: Climb to 3000 direct WINDZ and on track 284 to TELLE and hold.   Remember to wave at the Hilton as you pass.
