May 20, 20224 yr Ok having some trouble with this one, i got my Navigraph linked to my efb no issues there at all. efb keeps saying no flight plan, mcdu and fenix app says the correct id for sim brief, tried starting the app first and than sim first no joy. My guess is that iam setting the info wrong in sim brief itself. I Suspect that iam making the wrong aircraft selection since i simply choosing any 320 in the aircraft selection I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg

The reason i ask is i discovered awhile ago i'd actually had two Simbrief accounts before Navigraph took over, and i had a similar issue until i discovered i was inputing the wrong info. May 20, 20224 yr If you load the plan with engines running then it will load as SEC FLIGHT PLAN. Aamir explained this on a different thread a few hours ago: apparently it’s true to life (although unfortunately it contradicts the step-by-step instructions he posted on here on Wednesday). Time to go spent enough looking around for this issue 🙂 Edited May 20, 20224 yr by pete_auau I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg

When I coincidentally ran into Airbus‘ Chief Training Pilot today I touched this topic and he mentioned that it belongs to Airbus‘ philosophy that once the engines are running you are not supposed to change any primary flightplan because you did the flight briefing already and - well - the engines are running already following the various preflight checks. Why would you want to make changes to your flightplan now. So the Airbus prevents these changes. Instead, secondary flightplan are either used for alternative arrivals/deviations in case of adverse weather or to have the next flight after the turnaround available Phil Leaven i5 10600KF, 32 GB 3200 RAM, ASUS 4070 12GB EVO, Asus ROG Z490-H, 2 WD Black NVME for each Win11 (500GB) and MSFS (1TB), Rolling Cache 16GB, Photogrammetry always OFF, Live Weather and Live Traffic always ON, Res 2560x1440 on 27"
May 24, 20224 yr That's great info. Thanks for passing it along Dad. We should set up a section where we could ask some of the real pilots who hang out here questions through a third-party anonymously. Nobody would know which pilot is answering, so they wouldn't be able to besmirch them, or question their training and experience. Well, they're going to do that anyway but at least the rest of us wouldn't know who they were insulting. i9-10850K, ASUS TUF GAMING Z490-PLUS (WI-FI), 32GB G.SKILL DDR4-3603 / PC4-28800, GIGABYTE RTX5080 16GB WF OC 3 FAN running 3440x1440
May 26, 20224 yr Stumbled across this thread and I finally got an explanation as to why my simbrief flight plan didn't seem to get loaded in the FMGC even though I thought I was following the YT tutorials to the letter. So thank you for this. Bruce Bruce Bartlett Frodo: "I wish none of this had happened." Gandalf: "So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."
