Question on Fenix A320 MCDU - where to find ZFWCG?

Featured Replies

Wait I'm confused. On the youtube tutorials, I see everyone using the value from MACZFW for ZFWCG on the INIT B page where it asks for ZFW/ZFWCG

ZFW is Zero Fuel weight   ( the weight of the aircraft without any fuel.)  The ZFWCG  is the (weight of he aircraft with no fuel)   and it's  Center of gravity. Those are the two numbers that you insert on the top right of the Init B page.  Can't get any simpler.

The bottom picture is labeled incorrectly. TOW is the ZFW plus the fuel, and it's CG. The program is not adding the fuel to ZFW. It should read 69,709Kg  and CG should be 26.

Okay I give up how can something so simple be so hard 😞

Your first picture is correct, keep it at that. Enter the ZFW and MACZFW you see on the EFB Mass and balance tab at the ZFW/ZWFCG on the INIT B page in the MCDU and you're good to go.

The information on the second screenshot should only be used to get the mandatory information for the MCDU PERF page. Just ignore the incorrectly labeled TOW and MACTOW: that tab is all about the upper right part.

I already knew that. I was just confused because of the terms MACZFW, MACTOW, etc. But thanks.
