Extremely stuttering MSFS

Featured Replies

Hey,

If I misplaced my question  please (re)move it and let me know.

For a month my msfs, steam edition, is stuttering enormously after around 20 min after takeoff till the moment I shut msfs down. Therefore, it was working completely normal.

I've keep msfs and my gpu etc. updated so that shouldn't be the problem. Would be interested to know if you have an idea regarding this problem because in this way, it is impossible to fly...

Try one thing first, and that is setting the terrain offscreen precaching to "ultra".

Then, you might want to go through these tips for the Nvidia settings:

Do you see a spinning white circle at the bottom right ? If so, toggle developer mode on-off will solve your problem, it is an annoying bug.

You can solve this by enabling Developer Mode and exiting it again.

That's curious, I have two computers, and in one of the two I have this bug, but not on the other. Turning devmode ON - save and then OFF - save, as you mention solves the issue. It certainly introduces stuttering.

One of the theories is that it’s related to the Log Book. As enabling Dev Mode disables log book tracking.

If nothing works try with a empty communty folder maybe it is one of your apps

This issue which I took to zendesk 3 times was resolved for me thankfully a couple of sim updates back.
