Well if there was a chance to correct any misunderstanding, that has passed with silly “and” replies.

point I was making is that MSFS ain’t $30 a month.

point I was making is the total setup cost to get going with msfs is only $30 a month. Good luck trying to get a fresh fairly decent Xplane setup for anything close to that.

Sure thing. When you said MSFS was 30 bucks a month, you were of course talking about CANADIAN dollars and INCLUDING an Xbox. Of course you were. 🤣

I put most of it down to Xplane having a fairly high "setup" cost, compared to MSFS, "click download on your xbox and get a half decent flight sim for $30 a month".

i.e. for $30 a month everything you need, controllers, hardware and software, ready to go.

And that's before you get into the weeks/months of tweeking and learning you need in xplane (however fun) before you have a flight simulator you understand and can use. (how the scenery works, downloading ortho, setting up reshade, finding you have to buy enhanced skyscapes, fixing up old aircraft versions to be useable etc etc.)
