July 20, 20223 yr Hi fellow simmers I have KB T-Rudder pedals MK IV, and have them configured via FSUIPC. They settings work fine on all other aircraft including the PMDG 737-700 - for both taxing and landing - if needed. With the Fenix A320 the pedals work fine for taxing, but when I touch down and use the rudder pedals to 'correct' my alignment - I go all over the place - usually off the runway. Any thoughts and/or solutions? George Westwell
July 20, 20223 yr By any chance are you switching between tiller and rudder steering? On the top of the steering tiller by your left knee there is a button "PEDALS DISC". With the button pressed in you have full nosewheel steering for taxi. With the button not pressed in, you have rudder control and a limited nosewheel steering authority. General rule of thumb is press the button after your engine start and before you taxi, then when lined up on the runway before takeoff press it again. Once you've landed and slowed to a suitable speed for leaving the runway, press it in again. There isn't a keybind yet for you to map it to a joystick button but hopefully in the next update? What you're describing does sound like you are landing with the button pressed in already. Cheers Mark Adeane - NZWN
July 20, 20223 yr Author Thank you markadeane - that sounds to me like my problem - so will give it a try this evening. George Westwell
July 20, 20223 yr I never use Tiller steering, just rudder steering with rudder pedals and I have no problem at all with directional control. Edited July 20, 20223 yr by Bobsk8

Known bug. As soon as the main wheels hit the ground the rudder pedals do nothing: as soon as the nose wheel hits the ground the rudder pedals should work again. BTW If you don't have a tiller axis assigned the rudder pedals should work for landing and taxiing without having to press the PED DISC button: that one is mainly (if not only) needed for when you do have an axis for rudder as well as tiller and want to test the rudder during taxi. However, this PED DISC button also is a bit bugged and doesn't work as it should. Anyway, no need to press that button just in order just to taxi ( no matter what controllers you use). July 20, 20223 yr Author Thanks tup61 - I now recall something about this known bug - it was in the context of crosswind landings - so I had not associated the two. Note your comment re the tiller axis. Let's hope the next update surfaces soon to address the rudder and any other bugs and enhancements. George Westwell
July 20, 20223 yr I have Virpil pedals and just cannot get them dialed in for the Fenix, on the take of roll the aircraft is so twitchy, I am sure it is an MSFS/Fenix issue as the pedals are much better in other aircraft and because of the nosewheel bug and crosswind landings I have arrived sideways at some gates lol I do hope they fix the ground handling issues soon Richard i7-12700K | Noctua NH-D15S Black Version | MSI Pro Z690 - A | 32 GB DDR4 3600 | Gigabyte Gaming OC 4090 | 1TB WD Blue NMVe (MSFS 2020) | 500 GB WD Black Gen 4 NVMe | 4TB WD Black Conventional | Fractal Design Torrent Case | Seasonic 1000W Gold Plus PSU | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Honeycomb Throttle | Airbus Side Stick | Virpil Rudder Pedals | Sony X90K 55 Inch TV |
