August 1, 20223 yr What's an "achievement" ? Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's
August 1, 20223 yr If the achievements actually had rewards attached to them, real ones like "50% off your next marketplace purchase when achieving XXX", or something like that, then I bet they'd garner more interest from the crowd. As they are now, and as others mentioned the metrics on some of them are totally bogus, they were cute and interesting for the 1st few times I launched the sim, then after that...well. Something like this is the only reward 🙂 In a time where NFT sell for millions, I guess even this has some value... or not? 😛 7800X3D | 2x32 GB DDR5-6000 CL32 | RTX 5080 | Alienware OLED 34" | 1 Gbps fiber

April 18, 20242 yr Commercial Member Guys, I have the suggestion of a paid app that can help you in the pursuit of the achievements. I cannot advertise the name of it here (moderators have warned me), but I can tell you by direct message if you want. It's a cheap app that can do a lot of things, including tracking some of the achievements. USD15 and USD19 for the licenses, contact me if you want more information. Regards, Fabiano Chamone FlightLog Analyzer team
April 19, 20242 yr Author Nice necro... really, 19 USD for what? Achievements are already tracked in the store (MS or Steam), you can see the percentage of completion for each icon. BTW in the meantime I completed all of them, so I take the opportunity to brag 😛 7800X3D | 2x32 GB DDR5-6000 CL32 | RTX 5080 | Alienware OLED 34" | 1 Gbps fiber
April 19, 20242 yr Commercial Member Yes, but as you said you can only see the percentage of them, and not some details. For instance, if you have already flown 300 miles flights with several aircrafts, which ones are left to fly to complete the "Jack of All Planes" ? And another example, what about the "Service with a Smile" ? How can I know which services have I already requested and which ones are pending ? Regards,
April 27, 20242 yr This year on April 11th I finally got the "Stay on target" achievement. "Use the Instrument Landing System (ILS) to complete a landing." - haha that was a good joke. After doing approximately 100 automatic landings in the Fenix Airbus and having flown and landed the Black Square planes (Bonanza and Baron) almost daily last winter I suddenly got this achievement a few weeks ago like it was the first autopilot landing ever. 😄 Hm maybe autoland a specific GA plane with the default GNS530 was necessary for this, not sure. But bothering with achievements? Never. It´s just a small fun detail showing up now and then telling me I have mastered something in a game. Edited April 27, 20242 yr by JetCat
