TDS GTN750xi

Their website video shows the 750 installed in the Carenado Ovation. Does anyone know how to do this? I can only use it in the 414 and Milviz 310. I'd love to have it in Carenado planes such as the Mooney and Arrow 3.Thanks.

Did you try the tablet?

Edit: On second thought, I think it doesn't support the TDS.

Yep, I think I now remember someone saying it doesn't support the TDS.

Hopefully Carenado will update all their products with TDS support.  In the mean time, send me a PM.

As Ryan indicated, the Carenado M20, C337, Seminole can all be modified to support the TDS GTN750.

Is there a tutorial on this somewhere?  I am just about to press the button on a 750 package.  The PMS seems to have ready made compatibility with a lot more aircraft, but I really like the look of the TDS xi version.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

I would stop and rethink...  Any airplane that supports the PMS GTN750 can also support the TDS unit as best I know, so that should not be the decisive factor..

The functionality difference of the PMS and TDS units is what should shape your decision.. 😉

If you need assistance with a specific plane, take Ryan up on his offer..
