I saw this post and remembered I had a copy of the Convair at one point. Couldn't remember if I'd converted it to MSFS or not but knew I'd got some pix somewhere. After a bit of digging I found them, all dated 2018 sometime so probably P3D v4 I'd guess.

So a bit old, but a fun aircraft. I've never seen any pix of the interior of this but I would hope it was gloriously tacky. El is heading off to Salt Lake City for a one-off special at the Tabernacle Hall, taking a break from his Vegas season.

Thang yew, thang yew, Layez n' genllmen, Elvis has left the airplane!

Intereresting looking back through my old P3D pix. Some almost respectable shots in MSFS terms, but mostly looking a bit wan by comparison. Lots of old friends aircraft wise that I miss though. Might dig out a few pix and post them up here later.

Your screenshots are certainly far better than the recent Elvis movie, or 159 minute trailer as I like to call it.

Welllthennngyouveymush, isbinuhplezzure (very hard to figure out a phonetic Elvis alphabet).

Actually, I take the mickey just like everybody else but he was very much a one-off and had more than his share of good moments. And who knows how it would all have gone if he hadn't done his thing. And he did seem like a nice guy, if a bit insecure in a lot of ways. Read the Guralnick books, they're probably the best ones on the man.

Looking at those screenshots brings home how far we've come with FS2020, wow...

Is that that latest version of XPlane (Oops read the tag, that's P3d, ouch)?😬

Yep. I do still find some old P3D screenies that are pretty good but MSFS is consistently great, whereas P3D was always a bit of a struggle and only good in places under the right circumstances (for me, anyway).

These are from v4 of P3D. Still got a v3, a v4 and a v5 on my PC, but hardly ever touched these days. Don't need the space so they can stay there for now. Same with XP10/11. Very occasionally I will take XP11 out to play, on odd occasions I might fire up P3Dv5 because I want to check something out, but haven't used the others since MSFS came along.
