Logbook broken

Featured Replies

My logbook failed after two years on 8/25. Will no longer record trips and even the interface is laggy while all other menus are fine. Any suggestions appreciated.

Just use Volanta or something equivalent .

All I could think of is to log out of both the MS Store and xBox, reboot your system, then log back in to both and start MSFS.  See if that helps.  I beleive the logbook is maintained in the cloud so that at least has a chance to do the trick.  If not I suggest you open a ticket at the MS Flight Simulator site, as futile as that might seem.

For years I have maintained a logbook in MS Excel.  Easy peasy and not volitile.

The Logbook will not record entries when Developer Mode is on. Double check that Developer Mode is not running in the background.

Thank you all. Will report on progress. For some reason, the log recorded a completed flight this morning. Still clueless…

Sorry all, but my logbook is still borked.  Thought it was working but nothing made it to the cloud.  Oh well ....

Shame. No more flying for you then? 😒
