Featured Replies

I have installed the driver off honeycomb site and still cannot get the lights to work on the Honeycomb throttle and what is so weird, they always worked but not now. Any suggestions?

Either use what v. notes in his post above, or, make sure AFC_Bridge is in your Community folder.

All my lights work except the "anti ice" light is ALWAYS on when in the PMDG 73x.

Anyone else have this issue?

The problem with the official driver is that it cannot cope with aircraft that use non-standard variables (most complex aircraft).
Please follow the link @vgbaron posted above. It solves most light issues with the Honeycomb Bravo, and likely also that anti-ice light since that driver already as support for the 737 built-in.

Thanks for the help, I'll give it a try.

Also, if you use Addons Linker, go to Tools>options>Additional Options

Tick the "Enable auto-launch" box if you haven't already done so. Click "Add"

Navigate to your BetterBravoLights.exe and click on it.

That ensures it runs when you start the sim as sometimes I have found it doesn't start.

109Sqn,

If I remember correctly, BetterBravoLights just needs the Install.bat run once upon initial install  vs a .Exe.

That install.bat did not work for me but that batchfile just starts the program with the /install parameter, which adds the correct info to the exe.xml.
You can also add it manually to the exe.xml:

    <Launch.Addon>
        <Name>BravoLights</Name>
        <Disabled>False</Disabled>
        <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
        <Path>D:\YOUR OWN PATH TO WHERE YOU INSTALLED THIS\BetterBravoLights\Program\BetterBravoLights.exe</Path>
        <CommandLine>/startedbysimulator</CommandLine>
        <NewConsole>False</NewConsole>
    </Launch.Addon>

Which file can you add it to?

If your are using the Store version, the exe.xml file is located in your userprofile, under %LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\EXE.xml I think.
If you search for exe.xml using Windows explorer you should be able to find it. I use XMLcopyeditor to edit the file but probably Notepad works as well.

Make sure you have a copy of the file before you start editing in case you make a mistake.

For the steam version, the file is probably located in USER\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator.
