November 11, 20223 yr The armistice that ended World War I was signed on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month. As a boy I remember it as Armistice Day. Since there were so many wars after WWI the named was changed to Veteran's Day. In Canada I believe it's called Remembrance Day. Whatever it's called a Canadian friend who lives in Edmonton sent me this a number of years ago. And I have posted it every Veteran's Day since. It's called A Pittance of Time by Terry Kelly. For me it's pretty moving. Noel Edited November 11, 20223 yr by birdguy The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.

November 11, 20223 yr The original video above is very good, I really liked it. But I noticed the Canadian accent messed up the optional subtitles. e.g. the audio words 'over there' was not recognized by the AI translation scheme. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Unfortunately, my clumsy "editing skills" managed to lose your original remarks. However, I did hint at how to successfully reference a specific video from YouTube. Click on YouTube's "Share" button and it will copy a shortened link directly to your computer software's Clipboard. Then in the AVSIM editor, simply press Ctrl-V to paste the link into your post.🧐 Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
