The allowed settings are "1" (for the lowest priority), "2" (higher priority) and "3" (hightest priority). November 14, 20223 yr Does anyone have any pointers on how to optimise the DD Chicago scenery, as it seems Drzewiecki Design aren't going to look at it. The scenery is great, but it is the worst performing by far on my PC. I bought it from Orbx, and London and Sydney scenery are absolutely fine, but Chicago brings my quite powerful PC (13900k + 3080Ti) to its knees, 12-15 fps sometimes. 😕 I am wondering if something is possible like how people have optimised the AI traffic textures (FSLTL). Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's. Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

Strange... on my 8 year old CPU and 1070 video card, I can fly around Chicago at the 30 fps (50% of monitor refresh rate) that I have set in MSFS.. Bert

But there are lots of people complaining over at the DD forum about crippling performance loss (and also here on avsim), some are saying single figures on high performance machines!
