November 24, 20223 yr Oh boy...🙂...we've come a long way indeed...as implied in your pictures...! "Wrights' first powered airplane flew a 12-second flight, traveling 120 ft, with Orville piloting.... The best flight of the day, with Wilbur at the controls, covered 852 ft in 59 seconds...." Fantastic pictures...! They have a perfect Replica of it, Jack, in the local Chicago Museum, and whenever I visit...I cannot stop wondering at it...especially at Orville Wright lying prostrate at the controls...
