FSL Concorde First Look

Recommended Posts

A brilliant set of images! Having used the 32-bit version for nearly 10 years this is a significant date in simulator history. Any lover of Concorde will be licking their lips looking at these images.😁

Look at that last image. Altitude approaching FL510 and cabin pressure is just 6,000ft. What’s the cabin pressure in the 787 bearing in mind it cruises over 20,000ft lower than Concorde?

Have you flown the FSX / P3D v3 version? The speed takes some getting used to especially the takeoff and transonic climb. Awesome power. 😳

Forget everything you’ve learned about Boeing and Airbus. This is closer to a military jet performance. Always happy to help if you take the plunge. 🙂

Well Ray you must be one happy camper with this announcement! Sounds like this thing may be a bit faster than my Lancair Legacy LOL! These guys deserve a lot of credit for the years of work and dedication to this piece of aviation history. I have always admired your dedication and love for this machine over the years. I must say there have been times when I was not sure that you would ever see this project get released but you always hung in there and that is just great! It is not my cup of tea as the saying goes but I may buy it just to support these developers. They do deserve it for sure.

@shivers9, you’ve got an awesome system that will do justice to Concorde. I see the Legacy has a top speed of 276mph. Concorde’s is around 1350mph. Just five times faster. 😁

FSL have access to former Concorde pilots so you can be assured the flight model and systems will be spot on.

The wait is almost over. It’s over five years since the project was announced. There were some dark days but those are happily behind us now. It’s almost time for 3 2 1 NOW. 🤪

That’s one aspect of flight simming I’ve never tried. Wouldn’t have a clue how to do it. I’ll leave that to others who are far more YT-friendly. 😁
