December 27, 20223 yr I'd look at Multi Crew Experience too, vs FS2C. It's customizable (FS2C isn't), it's not as scripted (FS2C relies on you telling it which phase of flight you're in), and it'll work with every aircraft in your sim (I believe FS2C is aircraft dependent.) Just some things to consider. Andrew Crowley
December 27, 20223 yr If you already have the PMDG 737 i can recommend getting the FS2Crew module for it too. As said above it adds to the immersion and is great fun to learn. However it somehow scrambled my PMDG installation. But after a quick reinstallation it all works well. The Visionjet is a nice little plane too. Great fun to fly and the views are the best i've enjoyed so far. Intel i9-13900K | Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Master | RTX4090 | 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6000 | Be quiet! Pure Loop 2 FX AiO | Win 11

It's absolutely great, and only going to get better when the AAU is integrated into it... G Oh no doubt Gary! I had the VisionJet in the shopping cart, ready to hit buy the moment it was released, but took a rare pause on my impulse-buy sickness....and said to myself "Steve....you bought the HJ and haven't even flown it on a real flight....just a hop around the circuit then put her back in the hangar. Take her on a few flights to see if you NEED a VisionJet right now, just to take on one lap and put her in the hangar too....LOL." So I did just that and have since fallen in love with the HJ...so capable and easy to fly. I'll surely get the VJ when I've gotten a few thousand miles on the HJ and looking for something new. 🙂 Edited December 27, 20223 yr by Steve Dra Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here

I wasn’t nearly as strong and DID buy the VisionJet right away (and when you get to it, you’ll love it). But your spirit of “do I need this now” and enjoying what you have is spot on. Over the holiday - indeed the past years - my wife and I have been de-cluttering the house and wondering “WHY did we buy all of this?”. We’re donating, using up, selling as much as we can...it makes for a more restful, easy to manage space, and saves a ton of money (and the shift in mindset even over a couple of years allowed us to pay off the mortgage etc.) And digital things are no different...they may be invisible, but take up disk space, cost money, need to be kept updated, etc. My New Year’s resolution is to buy only the REALLY good stuff i want to keep around and maintained flightsim-wise or other-wise. And fortunately, the VisionJet IS one of those things. 🙂
December 28, 20223 yr Easy. All of them are excellent. The DC6 has a good discount right now (more than usual) and the 737 is pretty awesome. The Vision jet is an absolute gem! The DC6 is really fun to fly. Just make sure you read the manual and set up the controls properly. Very fun plane to fly. The DC-6 has a Gyropilot fix (search on pmdg forums). The 737 is also amazing. I have the 700 but if I could go back in time, I would have waited for the 800 but there are very similar despite the 700 being shorter but having more range. The Vision I owned since day one and loved it since. Very fun little jet. You can't go wrong with any of these......so I'd recommend all of them. Just splurge and enjoy the fun! Some of these higher fidelity planes have issues after Sim Updates, just so you know. The latest SU included a lot more on-final gusts that can send your plane all over the place. The latest PMDG updated helped. Don't forget the Kodiak, JF Arrow series and the C22-J. I don't really fly the Milviz 310 or Porter any longer.... The FSW 414 is really fun to fly though 7800+4090+64ram Just Flight RJ, 146 and F28, Piper Arrows ---A2A Aerostar and Comanche---Black Square Starship, Duke(s), TBM, Bonanza/BaronV2, KingAir---FSReborn FSR500---COWS Da42---FX P180, HJet & VJet---FlySimWare Chancellor and LearJet---FlightSimStudio EMB175 &P2006T---Fenix 320---PMDG DC6, 737(700+900), 777---C22J---Milviz Cessna 310 & Porter---SimWorksStudios Kodiak, PC12, Zenith & RV14---BigRadials Goose---IndiaFoxEcho MB3339+F35.

That appears to be on sale as well. - Aaron

Now I just need to figure out how to integrate this into my normal checklist. - Aaron
