AI not appearing

Featured Replies

Have the same Problem with AI Aircrafts not

appearing (and AIG Traffic Controller).

But only on the first flight.

If i exit the first flight,  back to the menu / world map, and start a second flight, the AI Aircrafts appears.

in fact it's superior if you use ATC gate assignment.

Unless you're trying to park at the same game the real world flight did, or the correct gate for your airline.

ATC just assigns it randomly, unless the airport has parking codes and your livery has as parking codes in its config.

Couldn't care less where the RW flight parks as 95% of the time I'm in airports I don't fully know anyway so it just doesn't matter.

An hour ago I arrived in Toulouse FR and decided to see how GSX handled parking.  Prior to that moment ATC directed me to GA parking, which was a pleasant and short taxi to the parking spot w/ the marshall waiting.  I summoned the follow-me car and it took me all over hell and gone to a parking spot I chose in GSX, having exactly zero idea where that actually was as the airport is unfamiliar to me.   I much prefer the awesomely discreet Subtle-taxiway-ribbon over the follow-me car which is a masterpiece of simplicity and 100% effective and very discreet.  Since GA parking there is no need to park exactly relative to a jetway so the GSX marshall had no problems with that issue.

Meh. I am just happy that I can see airliners and general aviation around me when I take off and land.

If you don't have a GSX profile for the airport, I'm 95% sure the airport parking distance is based off the airport's BGL file.

So if it's directing you past the labelled stop line, then that's how the parking spot was built by the scenery designer, it's not GSX's fault.

. I don't know them either, I get it off flightaware or Flightradar 24

Anyways, this is getting off topic, I'm going to stop discussing it.

I read that, and installing GSX profiles for 100's of airports won't happen here.  What I don't understand is why the default marshall parks me exactly where it should be relative to the jetway, whereas GSX does not.
