REX Real Global Airport Textures - Technical Update 5.0

I have zinertek enhanced airport graphics. Is "real Global" an alternative to that. Any pros or cons comparing the two?

I was torn between the two but of the reviews I watched of those people that had both, most of them preferred the REX ones and because of the worm markings I opted for that. I must admit the REX ones looked more realistic to me overall but I have been tempted to buy the other as well to compare for myself.

Yes, thanks for that. I like the Zinertek product and have had no issues with it, but I may give this one a go, since I also have Rexs' "AccuSeason", which I am extremely happy with. IMHO, I trust Rex as one of the best Addon Publishers out there. As an added convenience, just like "AccuSeason"  I would purchase from ORBX as well and use "Addon Linker".

Well I just realized, tghat I already had the Zinertek textures, and I just bought the Orbx. Duh!!! I wonder if installing the Orbx, will override the Zinertek or not? OK , just figured out I can uninstall Zinertek in Content Manager, and then see what Rex looks like.

I was just thinking the same thing, but to be safe and avoid conflict, I would just remove the Zinertek folder from the Community folder. Out of curiosity what size is the REX folder in the community folder? Zinertek is 681mb on my disk.

The Rex is 1.59 gb, so almost 3 times as big as Zinertek. Must be much more detail.

I own both and prefer the looks of the REX product.

For rich pavement colors and textures that react better to sunlight.
