TOGA ENVPLUS

Featured Replies

I would say that the settings that are available with Envplus have huge ranges. If I crank a setting too high it can be blinding.  So changes made are noticeable

Asking cause i really struggle to understand benefit of this addon

It's has several nice features, but some key features for ENVPLUS:

1.  V5.3 EA mode - removes haze and lets one manage scatter

2.  Makes the cockpit bright for those aircraft that suffer a dark VC

3.  Overall environment lighting is much improved, brighter

4.  Can adjust night environment also

At a minimum you'll want ENVSHADE and ENVPLUS.  The major change is ENVPLUS being able to adjust EA mode and TrueSky.  If you like the lighting in MSFS, then you'll love the lighting ENVSHADE and ENVPLUS provide.

If you don't see any difference this it's likely a cache issue (shader cache).  Visit the link I posted and read the feature lists, it's pretty extensive.

ENV plus only works for P3dv5, correct?

I believe that is correct. Feel like I read that V4 compatibility is planned for the future.

I have both Env text and env shade, both are AMAZING! Makes p3d look soooo good.
