February 2, 20233 yr Does anyone have it and can share some opinion about it. Cannot find anything informative about this addon, dev web page is full of words but zero content, YT is also rather empty Artur
February 2, 20233 yr It is discussed here in this thread: In my opinion, it makes P3D look way more realistic than before, I really like it 😀 Dominik
February 2, 20233 yr My question would be what does Envplus offer that Envshade and RDshade don’t offer specifically related to EA mode with volumetric clouds? I’ve asked previously on other threads but haven’t been able to get a clear answer so any insight is appreciated! Orman

Is it some extra few sliders to play with, or some serious change ? Asking cause i really struggle to understand benefit of this addon Artur
February 2, 20233 yr with envshade you are only able to change the available shader settings within certain limits. With envplus you get more shader settings and you are not limited (or the setting range is at least much higher than with envshade). Dominik
February 2, 20233 yr It definitely improved the overall look of the sim IMO. I use EA, and ENVPLUS is supposed to apply new shader tweaks that also affect EA. I don't mess with the various setting values too much as I think the default settings look pretty good. My only wish is if they could fix the horizon, which is still not quite good enough IMO. You can see distinct bands of sky going from lighter to darker which doesn't look very realistic. The transition should be smoother. February 4, 20233 yr I bit the bullet and bought Envplus today. Daytime looks fantastic with EA on. Dusk/dawn look better than without envplus but still a lot to be desired in my opinion. Volumetric clouds were a mess, not that I believe is TOGA’s fault. The coloring looked weird but I think LM needs to improve how volumetric clouds are rendered in the sim. Will test some more tomorrow. Orman
February 4, 20233 yr Author I do not use volumetric clouds - could u check if any noticeable change in such configuration - EA on, vol. clouds off Artur
February 4, 20233 yr From a tweaking standpoint, there are less options with Envplus than rdshade. But my understanding is installing Envplus shaders has other benefits that cannot be adjusted by the user. Think those are listed on the product page on the toga website. Do you want to see comparison shots between Rdshade and envtex from the sim? Edited February 4, 20233 yr by okupton Orman
February 4, 20233 yr Author to be very honest i use shade and even some sliders are far right i cannot see any noticeable change, thus my questions, as i have mixed feelings about influence of toga package Edited February 4, 20233 yr by Beardyman Artur
