Can't buy Milviz planes?

Recommended Posts

I just want to know what's up with Milviz's website.  I was looking at some planes to buy and when I go to the store page for an airplane, just above the "add to cart" button is showing the price for all of their planes at $0.00 and when I click on add to cart I just get a message saying saying "Sorry, we can't find that page.".   Did Milviz suddenly pull all their P3D products or something?  I noticed some planes are now listed as P3Dv5 compatible that were not the last time I checked the site and I really wanted to buy them.

Here's a link to one of their planes, can anyone else see if they are getting the same issue?

I think that many developers, or a few anyway will regret doing this in the future.

Thanks for the link @Noell, I said my big rant there about it.  I am just so sad and angry.  Why couldn't they just sell P3D planes as is with a disclaimer saying it will no longer be updated for future versions?  Would that be so hard to do.  They could keep selling them without having to worry about constantly updating them.  Instead, they bailing out on the P3D community to cash in on MSFS like so many other devs.  It's hard enough to find good aircraft for P3Dv5 and now it's going to be even harder.  I hate you Milviz!!!

I have a feeling that they already have since they couldn't do the ATR for X Plane and now they put one they have slated for MSFS on hold after learning that Asobo/MS are doing one of their own.

I went through a nasty experience with MSFS involving Steam and MS Store which I'll leave out of this discussion other than to say I lasted two weeks on that platform.

I went directly to that developer which I have had a lengthy relationship with, that is, bought many of his excellent aircraft and had communicated with off and on over many years. Absolutely nothing he could do.

Hope it's worth it.

In case you hadn't seen it on the main page, Blackbird/MILVIZ just released nearly all of their P3D titles as freeware.  That's a pretty significant gift to the community--there are some very nice airplane add-ons in that collection.

I think that answers the questions about why they suspended sales as they did--nobody wants to be the guy that bought it two days before it was gifted to the community.

@Caribe the KA 350i Beech is really nice, maybe not quite a pretty as the Carenado version, but certainly has way much more depth of operations.
