If the OP had used the phrase "beta" in the title I expect this would have avoided some of the comments. Then people would know to stay clear of this thread if they weren't interested. If you join a beta you should expect some issues but the sim not starting at all is quite of a big thing. I can understand that the frustration led to the creation of a thread like this. Discussing these things on Avsim besides reporting the issue on the official forums is a good thing IMHO. It might help to warn people about major issues with the beta and even help some of the victims to get the sim going again.
