For me I had the immediate CTDs. Took out all my Carenado and just flight planes.  Got up and running and now after reinstall my PC12 has black and white screens for instruments.  Anyone else and any other SU 12 war stories and better yet fixes?

It's a beta...got issues? Report them to the relative teams, don't want issues? Don't join the beta 😉

And the thread should be tagged as beta since it will lead to all kind of visitors wondering why they haven't had this update.

I have the same experience as the TS (apart from the PC12 thingy) but as said, beta's can cause issues, sometimes even to the point the sim is unusable although their own alpha testing should normally prevent this.

Hmmmm.  Beta? Issues?  Sure, we ALL have issues. Report?  Sure, doing that.

Don't want questions that arise from issues as a result of a large group of flight sim enthusiasts, some like me, who opted to join this LARGE beta test?   Well then I suggest that you might not want to click a link on one of the largest flight simulation Question and Answer forums available for public, not private use else you may become offended thus forcing you to respond with a non helpful, yea, a pointless response just like yours.

I owned and played the first MSFS, and EVERYTHING since…Microsoft and others.  I’ve been an AVSIM member under various account names since it’s inception.  I used to find it filled with folks just like me who loved to read topics of questions that they might also have or better yet…be able to answer for the benefit of all.  Now…I find those people remain but they are being quickly overwhelmed by folks who have nothing better to say than…nothing

Are you referring to WU12 (New Zealand)? It is not a beta -- installed last night with no problems.

Please don't play into the grouches hands Btacon by asking for your own thread to be locked.

You are right, it seems there is a second layer of 'moderators' here that take pride in sniping and trying to get threads shut down.
In the end it is a place where flight sim enthusiasts get together to discuss things for good or bad - they seem to forget that, and snipe at every little mistake someone makes.

If some of them had their way, this place would become stagnant with very few threads due to their childish 'bullying'.
As far as I am concerned, they can just skip over the threads and clear off if they don't like the content.  It is up to the moderators not them.

I never wanted any thread to get shut down I'm just bemused at people complaining about issues on a forum that has nothing to do with the beta reporting process, report your issues in the correct place in the correct manner, simple. 

 

Edit: not to mention there's already threads about the beta but yeah let's have another one eh!?

Yes Mark, not saying you were, I am talking about some of the goings on in general in other threads.

But for this one, OK, maybe he made a simple mistake by opening another thread, but he was simply asking for help and trying to make it a bit humorous mentioning 'war stories' etc.
He never criticised the Beta directly, 

The likes and upvotes to my first post suggest I'm not the only one here... 😉

By all means moan, but a beta is a beta so you gotta expect issues.

As was already said,if you opt to join a beta, you can pretty much expect problems. That is what it is all about.
