Yeah, I am eyeing that one myself. Told myself I wouldn’t but we all know I’ll cave sooner or later so why even try to fight it. 🤯🤪

Don't even try, it's superb. Some learning curve though, if you're like me you'll need instructions on how to open / close the doors.... 🤣😂🤣

There are free options available in LiveTraffic settings.

Have you tried OpenSky? I never really understood whether they require anything besides an account or not to get more requests per day.

ADS-B Exchange and RealTraffic require a credit card (which is not the norm in this country and household). The glider channel is sadly pretty dead.

Oh, LiveTraffic is a free plugin?!

No reason not to try it, then. 😅 Too bad I am on 3hr flight in the A340.

the plugin is free, the accounts you need with various ADSB and other providers of the traffic information are NOT free.

I dont believe this is correct.

I finally gave LiveTraffic with OpenSky a try yesterday (create OS account, enter credentials in LT, done) and actually saw some aircraft in LittleNavmap and on TCAS, although I ultimately still felt pretty alone in the Kansas skies.

Ditch WT3 because of the FPS hit and use LiveTraffic. You'll see every airliner, ga and helicopter in the real world in XP12.  Much more FPS friendly.  You'll also get aircraft vapor trails too.

I have both and I stop using Traffic Global because the runway is wrong 50% of the time.  It is not using the new API to get the correct active runway.  My FPS is also higher in WT3 than in TG.  The quality of AI aircraft is far superior in WT3, it follow STAR/SID, user has control over airport operation, parking selection, etc.

Good news is Jim Keir the author is working on a new upgrade to fix runway selection code.

it is correct. Their main data provider went commercial. Now, if you aren't paying you get a mere trickle of flights, and after about 10 minutes even that stops.

Which one went commercial out of ADSB exchange and Opensky?  It is a shame the free one is no longer available.  I personally think RealTraffic is worth the subscription for a sky full of traffic and the features - especially historic traffic.
