The reason for this is clearly that no one knows the answer and as well as that, it is highly likely that there is not one answer, but several. The easiest trap to fall into is to make the assumption that the last thing that was done must be the cause of a problem. The quickest way to rule out all Community addons is to rename the Community folder and restart MSFS. The quickest way to rule out a driver is to "roll back" to the version that was there before. Ruling out Marketplace addons is a far more lengthy process that is probably not necessary in any case. Then there is the vast array of hardware combinations and the even more vast array of possible user-induced errors to be considered. What bothers me is that 4 online players had the same error at almost the same time. That is something which can not be explained bij PC config and driver issues MSI Tomahawk Z790, I7-13700K, DDR5 6000mhz, MSI 4090, 3x SSD 980 PRO, Corsair 360 Liguid CPU cooler, Corsair H1200V2 power.

April 4, 20233 yr Just don't update your video drivers unless it's directly required by Asobo. I'm still on 513 or 514 and feel fine. Nvidia is not a part of Asobo, so expect potential issues with each change of drivers. 9950X3D, X870E ROG CROSSHAIR HERO, Corsair Dominator Titanium 64GB DDR5-6000 PC5-48000, ASUS RTX 5070Ti 16GB, 9100 PRO 4TB Samsung ,990 PRO 4TB Samsung, AX1600i 1600 Watt 80 Plus Titanium ATX, ASUS 360 ARGB EXTREME 360mm Liquid CPU Cooling Kit.

I think you are right, but just about two weeks ago on their twitch session, when talking about the famous GPU error, they were saying "always update to the latest Nvidia drivers". The following week they said there is a problem and people need to roll back. The GPU error started happening for people with the Beta last August / September 2022, and it was nothing to do with driver changes. My drivers have been fine with everything else, so there is still a lot of fragility in the sim at the moment - not sure if it is an Asobo problem, or Nvidia, or probably a combination of both. As I quoted earlier, it was happening on my 3080Ti when it was running cool, quiet, and at medium utilisation. VRAM was fine also. So I think it is just a false alarm, but it is a shame that it stops the sim and kicks out to the desktop. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).
