September 13, 200718 yr I am still considering whether to buy this plane or wait for the PMDG 747. This sounds interesting though. Exactly what is this panel? How does it differ from the orignial? Any pictures? On a side note -- is FSUIPC really needed for the 767? What will I miss if I do not install it (I'd prefer not to)?/ Thanks in advance, Poul

September 14, 200718 yr Hi Manny,Thanks for the screen shot. Any comments to the questions in my first post? :-)/ Cheers, Poul.
September 14, 200718 yr I guess my questions got lost in my first post as I believe a lot of you guys have both the 767 and this new panel and will be ableto help (trying to decide whether to buy the 767 or wait for PMDG's 747) -- so here goes:Exactly what is this panel? How does it differ from the orignial? Any pictures? On a side note -- is FSUIPC really needed for the 767? What will I miss if I do not install it (I'd prefer not to)?Any input is much appreciated./ Thanks in advance, Poul
September 14, 200718 yr Poul,Without FSUIPC, you loose the APU Fuel flow indication and fuel jettison. That said, it usually doesn't affect the Level-D aircraft by having it installed. There have been some issues related to dll.xml and the order in which add-ons are placed within that file. Details are in the support forums at LDS. You can't access those posts until you register the product after you buy it. The good news is that most issues have been resolved by members of the support team and regular users. The LDS aircraft are FSX ready and for approximately $55USD, you can have both the FS9 and FSX versions. The 747 to which you refer is only available in FS9, and costs considerably more due to an arbitrary switch of currency to enhance revenues at the customers expense. Pricing details for the FSX version have not yet been disclosed by PMDG.Regards,Jim KarnNOTHING is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
September 15, 200718 yr Author Well..for FSX. The best airline so far is LVl-D 767. I know the PMDG 747 fairly good and its bigger and heavier which I like and tend to fly the 747 more in FS9. It was also my first airliner where I seriously learned all the systems. That way I am biased towards the 747. However, the Lvl D 767 is my second fav aircraft...and there are lots of LvL-D fans who like their 767 better.So..get them, both. :)Manny Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
