Ground Texture keeps refreshing at low altitude

Featured Replies

I found the ground texture keeps refreshing around Bern Belp (LSZB) airport when flying at low altitude.   When altitude is above 3,500 feet, the issue is gone.
I have Orbx's LSZB addon.  The issue remains with and without it.

Tried reinstallations and rebuilding rolling cache.  Doesn't help.
Any ideas to fix it ?  Appreciate it very much.

Also happening to me pretty much everywhere.

I have the same problem I know that above Morocco in the north of Morocco towards Rabat there is a problem even at high altitude (FL350)
so i voted

There are countless areas where this bug occurs, everywhere on the globe.

It doesn't depend on your settings or anything on your computer/sim, it's an issue on the MS servers which, somehow, have "damaged" the Bing ground textures with what looks like a LOD mismatch issue, or some kind of mipmap issue... Not sure how to describe that, butbasically, there is too much differences between the last and second-to-last level of detail of a ground tile texture.

I wonder as well if, instead of the texture itself, this could be due to some kind of early "mask" technique brought in for the future seasons feature ?

I had it recently in Corsica. More generally, I find that the sat imagery is not up of what it was. The degradation is obvious in many places (and acknowledged by Asobo).
