Got Friends Astro ONE released!

Featured Replies

Got Friends have released their Astro ONE: https://www.got-friends.com/products/astro-one

For $10 it's a steal! I only had time for a very short time yet but it flies great. A lot of fun! Already looking forward to fly it again later today.

Here is a nice video that gives a good overview of what the Astro One is and what it can do:

not bothered about the acrobatic element, but this is the perfect beast for gawping at the scenery for me.

Another winner from Got Friends.

It's basically their version of the real Jetson One - personal transport.  I think it's pretty neat.  I'm not sure I'll take part in the pretend colored courses (that part feels like Xbox to me), but I will use it in VR to fly low and slow

I'm not interested in the neon-colored race track either, but having an unofficial copy of the Jetson-One in my sim is definitely something I'm going to enjoy quite a lot, especially in VR.

First flight will probably be similar to the Jetson-One promo video, where the guy takes off from his own house parking and proceeds with low flight around the surrounding forests and houses 🙂

Renton looks good as well!

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

I like the makeover of the Time Tunnel!

But I'll also probably just stick to buzzing about the landscape.
