More from NYC (or is it Metropolis . . . ?)

Featured Replies

Some more from NYC. I have lots of little addons like the bridges, birds, traffic etc that all add a bit of sparkle to the place, and the Samscene addon is really well done, so I always enjoy a visit here.

Bit of sightseeing first, starting in Times Square

And then a cry went up - "what's that up there? Is it a bird? Is it a plane?" (you can finish that for yourself)

Now for the purists, I believe the flight model is not entirely accurate, but you know me, I like a bit of fun

Not sure with all the addons whose version the bridge is but it's pretty fine, whatever. Superman obviously thought so too

Great shots! Superan saving the world...i didn't know there was a mod like this 😉

It reminds me of the Lois and Clark series with Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher. 🙂

Nice second set from NYC.

Quite a unique approach to flying, Andy 😉 But maybe too many flies in your mouth after this 😉

Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds

Cheers John. Part of me balks at buying all the weird little packages like the birds, bridges, extra traffic etc, but for my use of the sim they really do make a difference. Put it all together and yo get some amazing vistas

Hi Will, check out here - https://flightsim-squadron.com/ - he's got some real fun stuff. Never really got in to the various TV series (I assume that was) but remember being really wow'ed when the original movie first came out back in the '70s, I think.

Hi Will, and yep, that's the one. I thought Christopher Reeve just simply WAS Superman - he was so perfect for that role. And he seemed very Supermannish in his handling of life after his accident. A brave man.
