looks nice but i wonder how big a FPS hit them clouds are,>and the nice looking water looks like a fps hog tooI would try reading the the posts over at the developers forum. Here is one of them for reference:"FEX includes a host of managable options for precisely the scenario you describe. You will in fact find running X2 water will not be a problem for you as you can down-size all the X2 textures which still look a 100 times better than any X1 setting. We have been extensively testing for the past couple of months on a massive range of hardware set-ups, including very low spec machines. We have gone to great lengths to make sure that customers running both high end and low end systems can still gain from using FEX.On one system here, I run high rez 1024x1024 clouds at DXT5 compression, with Tropical water at 1024x1024 and Non-tropical & Inland Water at 512x512 and 256x256 respectively. On this particular setup, there is an FPS gain over default textures.Naturally, all systems differ so therefore we can't go claiming or promising we can improve performance for your system, however I am reasonably confident you will not be disappointed. :-)"

sounds good...i can run UTX with no prob so this DOES look very promising...this is an addon that has slipped under my radar, i dont know much about it other than if it makes my FSX look as pretty as it does in those screenies, and with no FPS hit or maybe even a boost (depending on different systems, of course) then im all for it.

Woo Hoo !

I can honestly say that I have not checked the Flight1 webby more than 25 times today... I tell lies, too.Still not available for download.
